Weed & Seed is a federal program through the U.S. Department of Justice Community Capacity Development Office. Omaha Weed & Seed brings together diverse representatives from local government, community agencies, and area residents to form a Steering Committee. This Steering Committee guides the development and implementation of a strategy that outlines activities designed to address crime, challenges affecting residents, and physical deterioration of homes and other buildings in the community. |
